Remote access stopped working

Server Version#: 1.19.1.2645

I’m running server on Mac OS.
Noticed remote access has been not connecting for a few weeks.

Router Netgear R7000

Tried trouble shooting (toggling UPnP) on router
Setup port fowarding on router with static IP

canyouseeme.org says connection refused with port

Is the issue with the ISP?

Try to define a different port for your port-forward (and in Plex respectively). By experience, any TCP port between 20000 and 50000 should do.

This could overcome an issue where your ISP is blocking that particular port.
If it doesn’t fix the issue you might indeed need to contact your ISP and ask them if they’re blocking this (e.g. for some obscure security restrictions… or simply company policy).

I tried using another port but that didn’t seem to work either.

My mother in law can still see content on the media server and play. She is using a ROKU Plex app ~60 mi away from me.

My phone app also works when i turn off wifi presumably going thru the cell phone LTE internet to get to the server
