Hi, i am using plex on a synology DS918+ ( DSM 6.2.3-25426 ) with a vpn connection ( torguard ) behind a frixbox router (.6591 Cable ). It worked pretty well for a year - now only local access works again.
Have open the port (TCP+UDP) 32400 on the vpn server and on my fritzbox - also tried to remove it and re-added. Even tried a different port with same result
in the log there is the warning “NAT: PMP, timed out waiting for response” and the error “Error issuing curl_easy_perform(handle): 7”

tried it - plex direct is already on dns rebind exclude list - disabled relay server and enabled ipv6 support ( and tried auto configure )
-> now the remote access page shows green but it doesnt work when i try to connect from my mobile phone - it is probably a fritzbox problem. now i get a “MyPlex: mapping failed due to potential double NAT configuration” error ( even with just the isp router ).
thought can fix the double nat problem with a vpn relay server but it doesnt seems to work anymore.
EDIT: it looks like there are some problems with the auto configuration too, when no port is forwarded but the device is allowed the open ports by them self i get following error:
"NAT: UPnP, error mapping port 17368, error: The port mapping entry specified conflicts with a mapping assigned previously to another client, controlURL: http://192.168.178.1:49000/igdupnp/control/WANIPConn1."
Could fix the problem with my ISP - the problem was i only had an IPv6 but no IPv4. So i needed to order an static ipv4 to fix that. @trumpy81
are there any plans to get this working with ipv6 ?
