Hi - never had a problem with remote access and then this morning i suddenly have no non-local network access. Nothing has changed on the network. The Synology hosting NAS has full access, it’s limited to Plex. I’ve changed and reconfigured port forwarding within Plex and router and still no access. Logs attached - please help…

Looking at your logs:
- Plex.tv can’t reach in (to verify remote access)
Oct 04, 2024 09:54:56.484 [139651846662968] DEBUG - [EventSourceClient/pubsub/176.58.107.84:443] NAT: UPnP, attempting port mapping.

- Can you log into the modem/router from the ISP and confirm it’s showing the forwarding (or Virtual Server) entry to LAN IP and port 32400 of your Plex server ?
This isn’t complex so something trivial must have changed.
If that’s already setup,
Go to your remote access settings,
- Manually specify port
- Enter 28576
- Apply
- Let it reconnect
Sample of what you should get.
This is already in place, and tried previously, still no access and Plex still reports no internet access. See screenshot attached
you’re 100% certain that port is open and working?
https://canyouseeme.org using that 28576 port?
Just to clarify - Plex is visible off network, but the library is absent , ie I can login but it states no content available, check network connection, etc
Let me clarify?
- You can log into the server remotely (via remote access)
- When you use an app / browser, there is no library content?
If this is true:
- Is the server claimed under the right account?
- Does user “PlexMediaServer” have minimally READ access to all media files and folders (forced - “Apply to this folder, sub-folders, and files”) ?
Yes, all this is correct. Again - I have changed no settings on Plex or router at all and have never had a problem with remote access before
Additionally, when accessing via the public IP address directly, all works fine. It’s the plex.tv browser application and mobile app that doesn’t connect to the library externally
Hello, any response please?
