Good luck getting any help in this section of the forum it’s like a ghost town. I mean plex app should just work. What happens if you turn on VPN, you can use iCloud Relay or Google VPN just to test. Maybe it’s your cell service doing something strange.

As a test, try putting the phone on the mobile network (disable Wi-Fi), then reboot the phone. After it is back online (mobile only), try the Plex app. Also try using the web browser on the phone, https://app.plex.tv/desktop/ . @OG-StuartKicks So, I don’t think it’s a Plex remote configuration issue, or a firewall issue, or an ISP issue because of I go over to the library and get on their Wi-Fi, I can browse Plex just fine. I only have issues when trying to use Plex while on the cell network.

Dumb question, but have you given Plex access to cellular data? (disabling that may cause what you are describing)

So, I’m not aware of that sort of setting in Android. I’m in a Pixel 9. I checked the data saver settings and that isn’t active.

Have you tried with your Google VPN enabled? If it works with VPN then your cell service is doing something weird.
