My phone updated for the new Plex Experience and now will no longer let me access my content outside of my home network…however, it DOES work on the same device if I’m using the web browser…this tells me it’s not truly a remote access issue..it’s an app issue… anybody found a way to get the app to work? The server is up to date and like I said…works on the web browser for my phone but the app on my phone can’t load anything…lost as to how to fix this.
The app doesn’t work anymore, the general consensus seems to be that they purposely rushed it out to cause these issues. We will need to patiently wait for a fix.
@Homiepops77 what version number are you on. Is it Android or iOS?

@BigWheel something just learned..I can be on an external network, and when I use my app on my phone, I receive a “source error” and it doesn’t play. However, by Chromecasting to a TV, it works no issue. It is seemingly more and more the app that has the issue. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but to no avail. If I go thru the headache of side loading a previous version, my app works again.
I have the same problem. iOS version 2025.15.0(1053).
I am accessing a plex media server on a separate device on my LAN from my computer. The browser is able to access the library but the Mac App cannot.
