Remote Access

Server Version#: 4.6.4
Player Version#: 7.21.0.12323

I’m having a very difficult time trying to allow access to my server remotely. I’ve set up the static ip, opened the port, i show that port is open and also had it confirmed by my isp. I’m doing it manually, but when i hit “retry” and “enable remote access”, after the load, it shows momentarily that access is succesful but then i get “not available outside your network”. i’m not super internet technical but can follow instructions. i’m using at&t as my isp, and have read that they don’t support the “UPnP” or “NAT-PMP”, that’s why i’m trying to do it manually. I’m not sure if i’m out of luck or if someone smarter than i could walk me through this.

Thank you

It sounds like you’ve done much of this already, but take a look at this guide and see if it helps. Do you have a router supplied by AT&T and a router of your own? If so, I suspect the “Double-NAT” issue that is addressed in the guide.

I use the router provided only. I thought about the double-nat thing, but wasnt able to confirm if that’s the issue or not. I have another “router” but i’m just using it as a bridge and it’s not broadcasting… if that makes any sense. I did that awhile ago because i ran out of output ethernet ports on the provided router.
