Been using PMS on my Mac for a few years and all has worked pretty well. Now in the process of setting up PMS on a new Synology NAS. I cannot get Remote Access to work on the Syology server. It still works on the Mac server but I plan on shutting that server down once all my media is moved to the new NAS.

I have a robust Ubiquiti network and setup the port forwarding identical to the old working server with the exception of the server’s IP address.

What am I missing?

With 2 servers in your home network, you’ll need to define a different external port for that port forward. Otherwise your router cannot distinguish the traffic.

Example:

External Port 1: tcp/32410 => forward to local PMS1 IP address at tcp/32400
External Port 2: tcp/32420 => forward to local PMS2 IP address at tcp/32400

Thanks, I have that working now. New to the Synology NAS and loaded with questions as it pertains to PLEX.
