Check the Synology Firewall.
It has the sneaky habit of activating and closing the Remote Access port.
Hello… I have the same problem. Looks like I have the firewall on the NAS generally shut down.
I did try the instructions that suggested editing the Preferences.xml file to remove the XML attributes regarding PlexOnLine. That got rid of the cached refererences to the NAS, but I still do not see any way to establish a connection to the files on my system. Seems odd in that I am accessing the Plex HTTP server fine at port 32400.
Any other ideas?
Review all the network settings –
- IPv6 turned off / disabled
- NAS is using IPv4 IP address, which is static or matches the portforward address in the modem/router (rebooting the Syno will make it pull a fresh IP if DHCP and not static or MAC-reservation)
