just updated the server to this version and now remote access is not assigning an external port number. it shows public IP : 0
i’ve tried disabling and re-enabling and signing out and back in.
manually triggering the port seems to have worked. strange that the auto setting is doing this though.
i said the wrong thing…i meant forward not triggered.
it’s been working until today. i clicked on Remote Access to check and it and it was connected but then disconnected and now i can’t get it to work. i’ve disabled remote access and turned it back on. i’ve removed the port forward from the router and re did it. i checked the port on CanYouSeeMe.org and it’s open.
if i uncheck Manually specify public port, it shows Public IP : 0 and sometimes says it’s connected. if i check Manually specify public port, it connects for a second but then disconnects.
fixed it! checked the log and it was the router stopping the connection so i disabled UPnP on the router and then turned it back on. set Plex remote access to auto and boom. all good again.
