Remote Administration without HDMI

I’d like to be able to change settings on my Rasplex devices without having to hook up an HDMI monitor.

I’m happy to SSH in and change files - but don’t know where the settings are stored and if they are in a human readable/editable format.
Or, does Rasplex run a webserver on a port that allows for this?

The reason I’m asking is that one of my Rasplex’s doesn’t seem to render anything to the HDMI output. The monitor detects a signal but the screen is blank. Not sure how to reset the display of the Rasplex without re-flashing it (which I’m loath to do).

Thanks a lot for any advice.

It depends which settings, HDMI settings you can find them on the config.txt on the fat16 partition of the drive. The rest its on an ext4 partition so you need linux (i think a mac can also work) to read it. Or just back it up through sftp and then you can reflash it and test anything else.

The config files are usually just text files you can edit, those you will find it in the .plexht and .config folders

Thanks, forgot to look for hidden folders. Found the config files and am a happy camper.
