Hey Everyone,
I reaching out after hitting wit’s end on this one as I’ve done quite a bit of scouring of the forums and can not find a fix.
In a nutshell, all remote users are presenting to plex as my router’s IP address (192.168.1.1) I have read in a couple of instances that this could be caused by NAT’ing rules being applied to the connection or that I may behind a double NAT which I can confirm is not the case.
The other possibility that I am behind a CG-NAT with my ISP is also eliminated as I am paying for a dedicated IP address which removes me from their CG-NAT program.
This obviously introduces complications as my remote users are now classed as local clients which removes any bandwidth restrictions I have put in place for remote users which increases the chances that they may accidentally max out my outbound bandwidth.
I have attached logs and TIA for any help.
