Remote connect has worked for months now it is not

I have user remote connect for months tand now it is connecting for a short time but still not working.

Contact your ISP and ask if they use CG-NAT Addressing. If yes, then ask if they can provide you a public IPv4 address that supports port forwarding.


  1. Reboot your router.

  2. After the router is back online, reboot the PC running Plex Media Server.

  3. In Settings → Remote Access, does it show “Unavailable” in red, or “Fully Available” in green?
    Note that Plex initially shows “Fully Available” when trying to enable remote access, so you’ll need to wait a couple of minutes to see if it is really available.

  4. If Unavailable, is there any mention of “Double NAT”?
