Server Version#: 1.23.3.4707
Player Version#: Android 8.20.0.26534
I have confirmed that my firewall is properly configured and that port 32400 is open and port forwarded to my internal IP. I would be surprised if there was a problem with my firewall as I have a couple other ports open and used for vpn connections.
I tested at Open Port Checker & Scanner | Test Port Forwarding | Internet Protocol Tools to confirm.
Response:
Host is up (0.17s latency).
PORT STATE SERVICE
32400/tcp open plex
My remote connections are only working with the proxy relay method.
When configuring remote access in the plex server I get the " Fully accessible outside your network" message with a green tick. This turns to " Not available outside your network" a couple seconds to a minute later.
I have tested it with secure connections disabled in the server config and in the Android app config. I have also disabled the “Enable Relay” option to try and force it to connect directly without SSL.
I can then see the connection on the server logs, but the shard media content folders are not laoding. “Server is Currently Unavailable” message in Android app:
Request: [x.x.x.x:39202 (WAN)] GET /media/providers?includePreferences=1 (5 live) GZIP Signed-in Token (xxxxxx@gmail.com)
Completed: [x.x.x.x:39362] 200 GET /media/providers?includePreferences=1 (10 live) GZIP 3ms 8940 bytes (pipelined: 1)
Please I need help. I am out of ideas and going mad.
EDIT1: I solved the problem. Had to add a src-nat rule to one of the routers. I forgot that I am using a local gateway separate from my gateway for internet. The source IP changed to the IP of the local gateway before being forwarded to the internet gateway.
