Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
AppleTV Version#: 1.39 (11615)
Hi,
I have a linux server directly connected to the Internet with a public IP without a firewall (yes it is dangerous I know). The server also has a network card in a private network with other servers. The bandwidth associated with the server is 500 Mbps/500Mbps and AppleTVs have a download bandwidth of 1Gbps.
I do not use port forwarding and the I use the 32400 as recommended by Plex.
Since december 2018 I have a problem with AppleTV (3 in different house with different ISP’s), the AppleTVs are unable to connect to the server directly. What I can see when the server tell me “my server is not available outside of the local network” ( Private x.x.x.x :32400 <- Public x.x.x.x : 32400 X Internet) the AppleTVs can’t connect to my server. If I refresh the connexion and see “Server fully available through Internet” then the AppleTVs connect instantly to the server.
So, the real problem is why my server is constently loosing is connection to Internet. But I can find why, could you help me.
I try this morning to disable/enable remote acess but it’s not working (at 8:35) :
