I like to use these portable speakers a lot. As you can see the phone has seen some abuse but it still works wonderfully as a head unit. Here’s is my problem. Problem might be a strong work in this case, but I am trying to determine if this is expected behavior or can I do something to prevent my issue from occurring.
If I start a playlist on the phone above (6s running iOS 15.6 and Plexamp 4.3.0) everything works as expected. Now let’s say I want to insert a track to play next, but I would like to perform this function remotely. Great, I take my personal phone and open Plexamp on it. The problem is I do not know how to STOP the currently paused track on my phone. When I click on the remote button and see the above iPhone listed and its current track playing, I click on it, the app proceeds to resume playing my local track on the remote phone. That is not my desired result. I want to inherit control of the remote phone without interruption. Once I do this once and choose disconnect from the remote screen, my phone is no longer showing a song to resume. I can return to the remote screen and take control of the remote phone and proceed to insert a track as desired. If I remember correctly, in past versions, the app would ask you whether you wanted to push your track or inherit the remote track. I no longer get that notice.
How can I tell my local phone to stop playback entirely at any given time to remove the mini bar across the bottom of the phone so I can take control of the remote with pushing my track to it.?
Thanks in advance and thanks for continuing to develop a great app!
