I’m having a confusing issue. I share my plex server with my family as managed users so they can stream my library remotely. All has been working well for months however recently my mother can no longer access my server. She has tried signing in and out, deleting and reinstalling and tried multiple devices. She has even tried using another managed users profile and the same issue. She always gets an error saying the server is offline but every other remote user can stream fine so there is nothing wrong with the server. Ive checked all library permissions and remote settings, nothing has changed. Im at a loss here. Why would the server be down for one person on all their devices but not anyone else. It would have to be her internet connection, but it was fine a few weeks ago. I feel like im missing a simple solution but i can’t figure it out. Im using the latest version of plex server (updated just now) on Nvidia shield TV and my mother is trying to stream on a Roku, LG smart TV and Samsung galaxy phone.
Have you tried uninstalling Plex on her devices and then reinstalling?
For anyone having a similar problem, the issue ended up being my mother had her plex streaming app set to only stream 720p files and all my files are 1080p.
