Remote Steaming working but with issues - Cannot play message

I am having issues with the remote part of Plex. Locally everything seems fine.

I have forwarded ports on my ASUS RT-AC88U Router set to manual remote port in Plex which is 32400. Everything seemed great remote connection in Plex has the green tick.

The issue: I have a remote connection at a friends, he has a 2019 fire stick just purchased with the latest version of Plex from the app store. When you first open Plex and login to his account everything is fine its works well, But when you leave the app for a while then come back and it will say cannot play on all content, After a reboot of the fire stick it sometimes comes back and works then it will do the same again.
On the my mobile (Android) on 4G connection I was playing some music if you skip a few songs ahead quickly it will say the same error cannot play then only way to get it back is to force close the app and reopen and it will then play again.

Enable Relay: If I enable relay in Plex settings its seems to improve things but still does the cannot play error from time to time.
I would prefer to have a direct connection.
