I love that removing commercials is an option on newly recorded DVR content but I was previously before that feature was added, letting HDHomerun DVR handle recordings so it’d be useful to manually choose to run that process on things already in my library.
I would like this as well, it would be great if I could queue previously DVRed content for ad processing . Since all of my recording from now on will have Ad Removal enabled, it would be acceptable if it was some CLI command to re-queue for ad removal or something along those lines.

Yes, Please! I’ve got tons of stuff already recorded and would rather not manually run them through comskip on my NAS. I would think it could be setup like the ‘optimize’ option, ie right-click list of options for each recording, folder or series.
Another vote for this here, I’d also like it similar to the optimize option where I could run commercial removal overnight during the maintenance period on DVR recordings from the day or that have not yet been processed. Would allow me to move that CPU usage to the non-peak hours when it’s spare.
