Removed a show - Did The Plex Dance ™ and more - Nothing changed

Hey everyone, new Plex user here.
While organizing my library, I deleted a show.
I tried moving the files, scanning, clearing bundles & trash, manually pointing to the show’s folder, nothing works.

I followed the instructions here: The Plex Dance ™ . I tried looking through config files, metadata folders… but I can’t find how to tell Plex that I did not want to permanently delete this show from my library, memory and life.

To be clear, the show was properly detected before. Just under the wrong name and missing a sub-folder, which is why I was fidgeting with it.

Please provide any help you can, I’m out of solutions.

For info:

  • docker install on a UGreen NAS.
  • other files are properly detected

Please post a copy of the server logs, and both the file name and path of a missing episode.

Thanks what is the show name and the name of a missing episode file?

Nevermind, I figured it out:

Plex deleted the mkv files from inside the folders. I did not check for them as I saw the parent folders for the show & seasons, and every other file there.

Turns out deleted means deleted, sorry for wasting your time :slight_smile:
