Removed old PMS from Plex account--old libraries still showing

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5332
Player Version#: 3.65.1 (Web)

For the longest time, I’ve had PMS running on my Macbook air. I share libraries with friends. Most of the time my MBA would remain at home and plugged in, but this summer I started using it for a code bootcamp. That’s not ideal, as you might imagine.

A friend of mine gave me a small media center PC his company otherwise would have thrown away and I decided to set up PMS on that, so I did. It’s running the latest version of Windows 10.

I set up a fresh instance of PMS on this little box and configured everything. Under Settings > Devices I removed the old PMS (the one on Macbook Air) from my Plex Account like so:

Plex%202018-08-27%2010-28-45

Now, when re-authorizing friends to see my newly set up libraries, the old libraries from the already removed PMS are still showing:

I added the smileys at the end to the new libraries to be able to distinguish between the old and new libraries.

How can I get rid of those old libraries?

When you say you logged back in to the server and re-claimed it… do you mean the one you removed or the newer one? Simply logging out and back into Plex did nothing for me regarding this problem.

I don’t share with that many people, so re-adding all users would be a matter of about 30 seconds.

i found that by removing the server as a known device and reclaiming solved this issue.

Yes - by removing the old and new device and then reclaiming the new one solved this.
