Removing the photos section

I’m new to Plex,and wanted to test it all out. I go on my iPad and find the photos section, with all the photos from my laptop, and i dont really want that on my plex account. So how can i remove that and just have movies and tv shows, as thats what i want to use plex for.

Don’t make a photos library on your server. If one was made by default, because it was not disabled in initial wizard, you can delete the library. A couple places to do this…

  1. On the left side bar hover over library name and a menu button should show up (three dots) click on it and choose the sub menu, Manage Library, then choose Delete

  2. Go to settings (top right wrench icon), on left side scroll all the way to bottom and in the Manage section you should see Libraries with the libraries listed when hovering on row with Photos library on the far right click on the three dots which opens up a contextual menu where you can delete the library.
