Hello. Anyone have an idea how to name individual files in a collection series? These do not involve seasons per se, so naming them like that does not work. IE…Looney Tunes Golden Collection and similar of this type (Older Mickey Mouse).
Is it possible that the TV databases are the culprit and just cannot find said collections to recognize what is in folder?

The metadata sources that Plex uses only collect “tv shows” and “movies”. They don’t collect any kind of “compilation” releases on disc or otherwise.
And what is not recorded on these websites, cannot be matched in Plex and will not get any metadata.
I broke Looney Tunes into individual cartoons and used the naming/organization from TheTVDB.
It was time consuming, but Plex correctly recognized the episodes.
