Hi,
I’m trying to watch some of the Plex service free streaming shows on the Movies & Shows on Plex tab (or Rentals).
This worked fine at my dad’s house on his Roku, but on my Android TV back home both of these sources shows “No items to display, This directory appears to be empty”.
I’ve tried on my Sony Bravia, as well as an nVidia Shield. Same problem.
Works fine if I log in through my PC.
Any ideas?
Seriously? 10 days and nobody else has this issue?
He’s not the one with a plex server. He has a free account that has access to my plex server with a lifetime membership.
It’s weird that every device I own (including android phones) can see and play online streaming sources except android tv.
Yeah, my dad’s free account worked on Roku, and my paid account works on all our phones and computers at home, but not on any android TV (Sony or nVidia). All apps are up to date.
All my own media has worked, and continues to work this whole time.
We would need your android tv logs from after it fails to see what might be causing it.
I will have to figure out how to access those logs on a non-rooted device…
