Replacing HDD but not redoing the library

Plex pass here - I am planning to replace one of my HDD but don’t want plex library redoing the entire folders.

How do I change the HDD but only change the folder path on plex without plex thinking new media has been added (all watched shows then becomes unwatched for example)
