Repository for Plex Pass users

I find it absurd that users who pay to use this program (Plex Pass) can not upgrade to new versions comfortably using a repository as non-paying users can do.
I know there is no way to filter the version to install using a repository but there is on the server itself. If a version is only available for Plex Pass users and the user who tries to run it is not, then it shows a message and closes or does not work.
But fixing this should be a priority for Plex.

If you wait 10-14 days, you’ll get the same exact code in Public (unless it’s been superseded due to bugs)

Right now, due to the Dolby issue with 1.30.0 and 1.30.1, staying at 1.29.2 is the best option.

What Dolby issue?

As ChuckPa stated… the repository is using the public releases – that’s perfectly available for Plex Pass users too. The beta updates however are not available as a repo.
There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing to have such a beta repo too. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close it as a duplicate.

Looks like this maybe: [EAC3 Transcoding] Audio stutters on all Clients that do not support native playback (I went looking too).
