[Request] Auto reconnect

sometime the internet goes down for few sec and come back, power goes down, unplug network wire then re-plug fast, and apparently when any fast disconnect and reconnect happen for any reason plex doesn’t try to reconnect back the server, if its possible to have an advance option for auto reconnect it will be perfect.
most of the time my friend tell me that the server is not working why? and when i try to access it at home "local network " i tell them it working fine, but when i check in the setting then server tab, i see Remote Access with red indicator which is annoying tbh, so kindly think of a way to auto reconnect remote accessing.

Do you have Manually Specify port enabled in the server’s settings? And then a port forwarded to your PMS machine’s static P on your router? If not, then you are using uPnP which is just as bad as unplugging your network cable on the machine and plugging it right back in.

uPnP is prone to random disconnects as each router manufacturer interprets the specification differently. Some of them clear those ports out after 5 minutes of inactivity, some in an hour, etc. The problem with this and Plex is, it makes the uPnP port when the connection is established, and unless there is traffic on the port it never tries to remake it. (The specification may not allow them to, for that matter.)

Mapping the port (manually specify) and then Port Forwarding means the server is always listening on that port, and the router knows that port needs to stay open all the time. This is stable and the only real way to run a server with remote access.

@MikeG6.5 thanks for info will try it out, for now i made sure the router and connection stay stable most of the time, i made two pc share content one with Port specific and the other pc Upnp, will see what happen
