Short list of wishes, though nothing fancy as the features are already present in other Plex.

  • Being able to delete a file after having watched it
  • Going back in ONE click to the current Root directory (Films or TV Shows) and not having to press Back multiple times (Ms Remote here, not the pad)
  • Have a Browse BY and not just a Browse so that I can have Genre / Unwatched and so on
  • First screen should REALLY be Recently Added and Unwatched, or make it user defined

As it is, though I love the newest Plex, it makes NO sense to me.

Why would I want to be presented with MORE FROM CBS / WITH X and so on?

Plex Web with its custom views is, for me, the best to allow me to actually FIND things.

Last Added / Unwatched / By Genre, and Bob is your Uncle.

Anyway, just so you know I bough an Xbox One JUST for Plex, gave back the games it came with.

So of course I'm rather attentive to the feature set.

Excellent release anyway, a bit heavy on useless presentation but as long as it becomes users configurable, to each his own.

Oops, and I forgot, long lasting demand of my wife:

Yellow subtitles a bit bigger in size, pretty please.

Having them on HUGE on the server does not change a thing.

Honestly, the only thing I really want is to be able to press right to go to the next episode in a TV show. Having to go back, select the next episode, and then click on Play adds an unnecessary step. This feature has long been available on Plex for Windows.

Has it been mentioned to have the INDEX files show up when you RW/FF through a movie?  Right now the box is bigger indicating the file has an index but it's just a black box.

I'd like to access my music library in the Plex App; also larger subtitles would be great (yellow?) and the ability for TV Show's to continue through the series without having to go through several menus to start the next episode.

Might help me waste some more time catching up on TV ;)

Plex app updates don't come by every day if you put it nicely..

Screw this Plex pass, I'll continue use iMac as media center. (Like you care..)

If you got some swedish fellows working on the Plex project for Xbox.

Check in Viaplay, thats an online streaming service.

That contains all the stuff Plex should have. Easy peasy japanese.

Bigger subs, yellow, easy 10 minutes jump forward, backwards.

(And some bug fixes with external subs, there you go. But we don't hear a word..)

Here’s a big one. The ability to download subtitles from subtitles.org or wherever else you can get subtitles. That would be fantastic

Check your Agent settings, it's already doable and had been like that for quite some time.

It's a bit of Hit & Miss depending on the TV Shows.

It queries OpenSubtitles.org though.

Couldn't it be circumvented by Media Player's DLNA?

Not as good as native Plex solution, but in a pinch like yesterday's DDoS.

Xbox One has lots of power, transcode locally, on Xbox instead of server ;)

It might sound silly, but can the xbox and ps3 plex apps play content directly off an external hdd connected to the console,

keeping in mind that only supported media file formats can be played, especially large files tend to lag on my network when played through the pms on my macbook air.

Just being able to see the unwatched shows or movies - please.  Would be as easy as allowing all the unwatched to be seen when when you select to browse.

Reason - When I sit down I don't know what I want to watch.  Going to the unwatched is a great feature of Plex giving me some quick and valid suggestions as to the video to watch at that sitting.

Otherwise a sensational product..

I would like the interface to be more like the PC version (why do all the mobile and other versions not have the same interface as PC, which is awesome?), but beggars can't be choosers.

This may be more of a bug than a feature request but I’ve noticed quite a few times playback has stopped due to do an unknown error and occasionally the screen goes black audio still playing it just goes black when the image comes back I rewind and it plays fine. I also noticed if I push the Xbox button it brings back the image but when his paws there’s like no display showing it is paused or anything just black
