Following the guidance of the Data Breach notification, I reset my Plex account password and I was then able to sign back into the web app. I re-linked the Plex app on my Nvidia Shield, but the PMS instance on the Shield was listed as offline. I navigated to the Plex Media Server section of the Plex settings on the Shield, where I see the PMS status is listed as stopped. Attempts to start the server service produce a brief animation of an orange line tracing a black circle, and when it goes away, the PMS status is listed as stopped. Restarting the Shield and retrying produces identical results.
After some time, navigating to http://172.16.1.179:32400/web showed the server as unclaimed, as described in other posts. Once claiming was available, that process went smoothly, and all is resolved now. PMS status is now running, and the latest version is listed (I hadn’t noted in the original post that the listed version was 1.25.xxx, even after I updated the app).
