Resolved: Email Verification Leads to Incorrect Link

I have reset my password today (after the news). Fine.

Then I see my email is not verified? Not sure why. I ask to have the verification sent. I get it, click it, and instead of verifying my email, the link leads to the password reset page. :frowning: I cannot verify my email.

I’m having the same issue when attempting to verify email. It takes me to this page: https://app.plex.tv/auth/#?resetPassword&resetRequired

Same, I finally got a verification email and it takes me to the password reset page, which I DO NOT want to do right now. Plex account systems are seriously messed up right now.

I am told that currently some account-related actions, like verifying email addresses or deleting accounts are only allowed after performing the password reset.

I did reset the password. It did not work. I suppose I could try again.

Edit: OK that worked for me after the second attempt; p/w change and the email verification was automatic I guess, because I’m no longer seeing that I need to verify.

I tried the verification process again today and it worked! It didn’t ask me to change my password this time. However, I didn’t receive a message that the verification was successful. It just takes you to the following URL: https://www.plex.tv/
