We have no idea about the specific inner workings of the Plex server on the Shield, so it’s hard to vote for something we don’t know about. There might already be backup and restore in there, just like in all the other versions of Plex server.

Ah, I see. Well, it may already be in there - like I said, we won’t know until we can install Plex server on the Shield. It makes no sense that a backup/restore option would not be available, since doing a repair is as easy as uninstalling the app and installing it again. I could see a cloud base…

yeah, for me this is a must, without an option to Backup / Restore the plex database, PMS on shield is pretty useless.

@fsohet , there are many posts about this - I recommend searching and reviewing the existing threads. You can search from just today and find a plethora. There is also a dedicated NVIDIA SHIELD board for all Plex Server on the Shield issues.
