I recently lost all of my local data in an HD crash. But, I have Backblaze and restored all my files. Now my library is not sorted properly. Of course I have lost all of my ‘Date Added’ info. Sorting by recently added doesn’t help. And sorting by release date is somewhat useful but not completely accurate.
Is there a way to refresh the Metadata for the entire library?

It sounds to me as if you have only saved your actual media in a backup. But the Plex data folder was not saved and thus not restored. The old “added at” date was stored in there.
