It has happened a few times. I turn on the TV and it won’t connect to my linux box running plex server. It just says retry connection. I can get to the linux box from another PC and the Small TV in the kitchen.
Why is the happening and how to I fix it?
Tried multiple way to fix the problem. restarting the Plex Media Server on the Linux box did not work. Logged out of Plex on the TV and sign in again did not work. This morning I got not authorized on the windows PC that worked last night. So this morning I changed the
List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth. setting. I added 192.168.0.0/24. saved the changes and now it is working. Will have to see if it still works in the future.
