Does anyone here now why every movie is filled with the negative review icons, even if the review is actually pretty good on Rotten Tomatos?
I’ve noticed this on both the player for Fire TV and in Chrome. Plex Player software seems to think that even Citizen Kane isn’t worthy of single fresh tomato icon despite it being one of the greatest reviewed movies on the Rotten Tomatos website and also one of the highest rated movies in our entire history.
This is a really annoying bug and it has been like this for a long time
The issue I believe you are having is a bug in the legacy Plex Movie agent.
Check your library metadata settings here:
You need to change your setting to the normal “Plex Movie” entry (not the one that says “Legacy”) and then do refresh of the metadata. If you test this on a single movie I think you will see the reviews change and you get “fresh” tomato icons again. You will need to do a full refresh on the entire library from the three-dots menu to correct all movies. Note: This may cause changes in poster art and I personally had some movies get lost from collections and had to be readded after the fact.
