i’ve been having a problem in plex web for several months now and it’s not getting fixed in any of the updates so i’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this -
rewind 10 seconds button is broken in the web player… when i click it it jumps forward randomly by several minutes at a time. so if i encounter an instance where i want to rewind by a few seconds to rewatch a part of a scene, it instead jumps forward by a few minutes into another scene.
want to add while i’m here that all videos in plex web player will randomly skip about 10 seconds of frames without any intervention. if i rewind to try to rewatch those seconds, it skips again in exactly the same spot. if i try to replay the video from the beginning, it skips in the same exact spot. if i play the same video from file explorer in a local media player, there is no skipping at all, the file is 100% fine, and playback is completely normal without any skipping. if i try to watch the same video in a plex app on mobile or tv, there is no skipping at all like seen on the computer. this seems to be just a plex web player issue.
