I recently discovered this problem. It only skips on the web player. It plays fine on Roku, Plex Windows Desktop Player, and Android.
The fix apparently is to turn off Direct Stream on the Web Player. It does stop the skipping. My question is, why is it happening for this particular video file but not the others?
