I’ve run across this problem for a while. I didn’t see a topic about it, so here is mine. When watching a local video, if I fast forward too many times or rewind too many times especially in rapid succession, the video will continue to play at the location that the interface becomes stuck at with the interface not doing anything except showing the circle icon in the center of the screen whilst the video continues to play in the background.
You cannot fast forward or rewind nor pause/play the video. The progress bar will move to where you left off fast forwarding/rewinding and will not progress forwards or backwards even if the video catches up to it. You can back out of the video to the menu and when you resume playing the video it will begin to play at the proper timestamp fast forwarded/rewound to.
Is this a problem with the TV app, the server, or a combination of both?
