Sometimes when I rewind a video I sometimes end up going forward instead.
This occurs on Firstick, it’s occurred on both a 4k edition and older models.
That’s odd… I’ve never had this happen… I will keep an eye on it… Can you tell if it’s happening on things that are transcoding or things that are directplay?
Hm I guess it should be direct play, Im streaming content from someone else’s server
I would say, when you watch something, and you rewind and it instead fast forwards, ask them if you’re direct playing or if you’re transcoding. My suspicion is it’s transcoding, and the rewind is working off of the buffer rather than where you are in the file… but that’s just a speculation
Looks like it was transcoded, the issue had something to do with subtitles, selecting “image only subtitles” seemed to help
