I reporting this issue 10 months ago, and it still hasn’t been fixed. When I hit the rewind button on the Fire TV remote it sometimes jumps ahead instead. This makes it incredibly frustrating to use the app. I’m using the latest version of the client, and it happens on multiple servers that have been on various versions over the many months this has been happening, so I still think it’s an issue with the Fire TV app itself. In all cases, I’m watching with subtitles, and so I think transcoding is always happening.
I have to ask, does the development team actually look at these bug reports? I’ve reported several bugs over the years about the Fire TV app, but I rarely get a response and there are still so many playback issues on the device.
