Trying to rewind actually fastforwards frequently - Nvidia Shield

I’ve been experiencing a very annoying issue where sometimes stepping back (left-click / ie replay) in fact steps forward instead of back. If I try again, steps further forward. Continues doing that each time I try to step back. Forward or back both step forward, pause/play do indeed pause/play but don’t fix the stepping issue. Once I exit the video and restart playback, that usually fixes it. If it happens again by chance, then again the problem persists until exiting the video and reopening.

Any ideas?

Are you transcoding? I’ve experienced this, but only when it is transcoding.

Same. Have seen this issue on the Shield as well. Only when transcoding.

I would’ve assumed I wasn’t transcoding but I’ll have to check next time I play something. Regardless, hopefully there’s a way to fix this even for transcoding.

Yea. Seems like it’s also only for video transcodes, audio-only transcode is fine. They’re probably going to need client and server logs. The latest update seems to have partially fixed it, it’s not jumping forward, but if you try to go back 10 seconds, it will only go back a second or so. You have to go back 20 seconds for it to go back. Also seems like it if only affecting hardware transcoding, when I disabled hardware transcoding, it worked fine. I’m using nvidia gpu on unraid.
