[RFE] Fire TV cursor colour needs to be changed IMO

GDay All,

I would like the cursor colour on the Fire TV 4K Max Plex app (10.2.0.4488 (835622c5) to be changed.

Currently, the cursor colour is white and since a lot of Movie posters are also white around the borders, it can be impossible to tell which Movie has been selected in your library.

For Example:

Who can tell me, at first glance, which of these Movies has been selected on the screen?

And, yes, one of the posters has been selected.

Personally, I would like to see the cursor colour changed to the same colour (orange/yellow) as the played/not played triangle shown in the top right corner of each poster.

That should give the best contrast to 99% of the Movie posters and make it much easier to see where the cursor actually is, instead of leaving us to guess.

This also applies to all other Libraries and Media.

Another possibility would be to allow us to choose a cursor colour from a palette of choices within settings, but I can appreciate that, that would require additional coding and resources, so it may not be achievable, but a simple colour change could be achieved in seconds … lol

Thanks for taking the time to read this request

Totally agree – the current setup is an accessibility nightmare. I don’t see why it’s not “Plex Orange” or a customizable color.

My mouse cursor on Windows is always the opposite of the background color, and something like that might end up being really cool with the Ultrablur style. But being visible to any user with sight is most important.
