Player Version#: doesn’t matter
So I got the movie SAS: Red Notice and ripped it just like every other movie I have. Using Handbrake. Plex will not see this movie. It is Ripped in MKV format with subtitles included for english. I am not sure why this is happening. I also Ripped Game of Thrones last year and Plex doesn’t see it either. I rip everything the same way every single time. Anyone have any suggestions.

If this happens, this is usually related to permissions (shouldn’t be an issue on Windows) or the naming / organization of your files. This can e.g. result in movies being mismatched as a different movie – maybe even as another version of an item already in your library. In that case you can usually find the items by filtering the applicable library for duplicates or sort it by Date Added (checking if there’s anything that doesn’t belong and could be a bad match).
