Why does plex not see this one movie?

I got a movie yesterday, bluray, ripped it, converted it to mp4 with handbrake, same settings i’ve always used that have never been a problem.
the format is 1080p (not that it would matter).

i uploaded it to my nas, let the plex library update, and plex just doesn’t see it… it’s on imdb and rotten tomatoes, but it just doesn’t see the file. i can play it locally on my pc with any media player and all is fine.

PMS version is latest stable.
OS is win10 IoT ltsc with all updates.
all drivers are up to date and all works properly as it should.
there aren’t any rights issues as far as i can tell. comparing to other movies yielded the same results.

no differently than any other file. it just ‘movie title.mp4’

yeah, weird… plex can see and play all other media within the folder. when i look at the rights along side any other random movie that I know works, they’re precisely the same.

Tell the actual movie title, plus the folder structure you’re using.

Engage the Duplicates filter. Inspect the Plex media info of any duplicates. See if the file name of the new movie is shown among them.
