roadmap question

HI Guys,

 

since the roadmap is being worked on and i don't see this question in the release notes for 1.0 would i like to ask my question here...

 

i understand that the older firmware will get mostly left at this point and that only some mayor changes will make it back to the 1.0 releases

i have no problem with that as i understand it is an Apple issue and not the apps issue cause of not being able to change things on the appletv

 

but would MYPLEX make it as one of these mayor changes back to 1.0 or is this only going to be made available in the newer versions ?

 

reason is that i have 2 servers and hate to have to change the ip in the settings.cfg all the time

The only thing that is planned on being backported is a fix for resume playing on 5.01 and 5.02.

Unfortunately the addition of MyPlex support will not be added (well by the PlexConnect devs anyway).

If you are on 5.01/5.02 why do you not use Redsnow or iFaith to dump your blobs and then upgrade and try the new version when it come out, if you want you always then have a path back.
