Roku app on Onn Soundbar does not see servers anymore, but other Rokus do

The Plex app on my Roku soundbar does not want to connect to either of my servers. The odd thing is I have a Roku Ultra that still connects to both servers just fine, all mobile devices work, and using plex.tv from a browser will play fine also. It is just this lone Roku Soundbar.

I have gone through network troubleshooting. The Roku works on Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc. All apps work besides the Plex app. I have a USB network adapter plugged into the soundbar so I thought even though everything else works fine that maybe this was the culprit and switched to wireless, same problem on wifi. I factory reset the sounbar, did nothing. Rebooted the Plex LXC container, and then later the Proxmox host also. Did not change anything. Tried digging through the logs on both server to see if there was something blocking the IP of the Roku, nothing there. Also switching to Wifi would have fixed that anyway. I tried setting the connections manually in the Roku app and that did not work. At a loss as to why this one Roku will not work anymore out of all my devices.

I’m having the same issue with the Roku 9100x-onn soundbar. 4 different Roku TV’s from TLC and Hisense work just fine. All IOS, Macintosh, and windows devices work fine. Soundbar Player version 7.36.14.10147-6754caeec-Plex

I have logs available from both player and server, if that helps.

That’s even more interesting considering that’s the same soundbar I have. The Walmart Onn brand Soundbar Pro.

Can confirm - I have the same issue

Same Issue on ONN Roku Soundbar. I’ve tried reinstalling and logging out as well as updating. This is the only device that it will not connect on.

Now it’s going to be, how do we get the attention of the app devs to fix the problem? Plex is 75% of that TV’s use so it is quite annoying to say the least.

Well it’s been over a month and still unable to connect to my Plex servers. Been having to use my old Roku 3 for Plex. Tempted to ditch Plex altogether and go back to Jellyfin if the Devs don’t feel it’s worth fixing

Still nothing from Plex on this. Been months since my soundbar has worked with Plex, still using the Roku 3
