Server running on Windows 10 Laptop but cant connect Roku or iPad

Server Version#: 1.18.7.2438
Player Version#: Roku 6.4 build 10 (6.4.10.6174-1475be6a9-Plex)

I’ve been running the Plex server on my laptop and streaming my movies/music on my Roku app for over a year with no issues, then a few days ago it stopped working. The Roku app says “Laptop is currently unavailable” and I can not re-establish the connection. My Roku app on my iPad (6.7.2) also shows as “offline”.

Both devices show up in my “Authorized Devices” with a time stamp from when I turned them on.

I updated the server on my laptop to the current version, tried logging out/in, I ran a repair on the Plex server on the Windows uninstall, deleting the Roku app, but nothing.

I’m stumped, any suggestions?

I can attach my log file(s), but not sure which one to attach - there are 138 item in the zip folder that I downloaded.

Hard to tell with the server logs since I cannot see any clients connecting. It may be that the server has a firewall disallowing the connection, or possibly wireless AP isolation. Can you enable remove logging on the Roku in the Plex channel. Close and reopen the channel. Then report back with the time/timezone you ran this test.

Thanks for getting back to me!

Your Roku ip is 192.168.1.x and the server is 192.168.1.x, so it looks like they are on the same network. However, the roku is blocked while attempting to access the server.

No route to host GET https://{internal_server_ip} - 3067ms
No route to host GET http://{internal_server_ip} - 3059ms

The fact it’s mentioning no route to host is indicating AP isolation is turned on. Check your wifi access point and make sure you haven’t enabled any isolation mode.

I reset my WiFi router and it’s working again. Thanks for your help!
