Roku Media Players unable to see Synology NAS running PMS after update

Server Version#:Synology NAS DS218j running DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 4 (current)
Player Version#: PMS Version 1.18.6.2368 (current)
Roku Media Player Version 9.2.0 Build 4502 (current)

After some struggles, I was able to upgrade my Syno NAS to the latest version of Plex Media Player…thanks again Chuck!
Now the next issue. I use Roku to access my video libraries. I have a TV that uses a Roku Ultimate box, and I also have a Sharp Roku TV with the player built into it. They both use the interface called Roku Media Player to do their work. Since upgrading PMS on the NAS, neither of the Roku boxes can see the libraries any more. Both of them start to run, get to the screen where you are asked what sort of media you want to view (Video, Music, Photos, or All). No matter which type is selected, the result is the same. Roku says “Waiting for Media devices” and just sit there for days.
On the Roku TV, I did a factory reset and reinstalled the Roku Media Player (RMP), but it’s exactly the same issue.
I had userID issues getting the PMS upgrade done, but that’s all sorted now. I have no clue what the RMP is looking for, or if it’s being rejected at the server level and not showing that on the player.
I did look through the FAQs here, but did not find anything relating to my issues. I also googled the issue and found nothing useful. Google did have some vaguely similar issues listed, just not for Roku. In those few records google did find, DLNA was mentioned as a cause of a “similar” issue. I am not familiar with DLNA, nor would I know how to set it up on my NAS if I wanted to. I looked briefly at my DSM Tools to see if I could see anything and did not run across a mention of DLNA, so I’m not even sure this is what I need, so no sense wasting more time there if it’s not the issue.
Has someone seen this before, specifically with Roku Media Players? Any suggestions to try that may help me out would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in Advance

Success…this can be closed now please.

After more reading and research, it appeared that my Plex Media Server which actually runs on my Synology NAS needed to have DLNA active. As soon as I checked the setting for DLNA in PMS Settings and restarted PMS on the NAS, both the Roku box and Roku TV could again access and play the vidoes, music and photos in my library.

Now the only question left is “WHY” did the upgrade turn that feature off in the newly installed PMS??? If DLNA is required in order for the Roku Media Players to work, then it must have been turned on for the last 9 months when everything was working. There is also no mention of DLNA setting being needed at all in the plex.tv FAQs that I could find. Perhaps we can have someone update the FAQ that deals with upgrading from the 1.15.x that I was using to fix my original issues with PMS to include a check for DLNA status?
