Roku Plex Navigation Skips Through Multiple Clicks When Clicked Once

At first I thought it was an issue with my Roku remote. When I navigate through Plex using Roku, left to right, or up to down, it will jump several clicks. I purchased a new Roku remote and have narrowed down the issue to the Plex app on Roku. I’ve tried updating the Plex app on Roku and it says it is up to date. Obviously, this makes using Plex through Roku incredibly frustrating as it seems to have a mind of its own.

I have the same issue. I believe it started about 2 months ago.

I don’t know how to get the PLEX Roku app version, bu I bet it changed a little while ago.

Also experiencing this. one of my tv’s (TCL/Roku) stopped doing it a few days ago. But I have a tv with a Roku Ultra and it does the remote “skipping” only in the Plex app so appears to be isolated to Plex. Have another Sharp/Roku tv that it is also still doing it, again only in Plex app. Also spent money on a new remote figuring it was a bad remote…

Update with a Fix! I realized it actually was happening in other apps as well. Solution - I checked for any updates with Roku (there were none) and then I forced restart the Roku device from the settings menu (below the updates option). That seems to have repaired the issue. Cheers!
