I was going to go along with the rest of you fellow forum users and share my list but the more and more I’ve read some of everyone else’s statements, it made me think…
Why are we contributing our time and sanity testing this out when THEY (Plex Inc) are the ones who WANT/DECIDED this without any initial input from the very start and now, it’s like we’re being pawned to do their actual job. It’s come to my attention that they have no UX UI talent and are asking us what needs to be changed. Why? This product is no longer serving OUR purposes anymore. Just look at the blatant LIE below -
“to bring EVERYTHING you love into ONE seamless interface—from YOUR personal media”
To add insult to injury, as you pointed out below… and rightfully so, why are we acting as a conduit/replacement for QA / QC for Plex’s design teams mistakes that are showing that they may have hired the most unqualified people. We shouldn’t be doing ANY of this when the apps are no longer ours. We’re doing the paid work that someone/a team of REAL UX / UI DESIGNERS should be doing. Are any of us getting paid? What do we get out of this chaos? We just had our PHOTOS and MUSIC / Audio libraries gutted from the main product.
