Roku TV not showing Skip Intro during shows

The Skip Intro feature is configured correctly on my server and library. The feature works fine on my Roku Ultra 2019 box but does not show up at all on Roku TV (TCL 75R615) when playing the same TV show episodes.

Can you check what version of Plex is installed on your TCL and if you might have auto-updates disabled?
The Skip Intro feature requires Plex for Roku 6.5.4 or newer…
Not sure if your Plex has simply not been updated or the minimum version is not supported on the underlying Roku version.

The user did not have a Plex pass subscription so that is why it was not working, I did not realize it was required but now I understand.
