Skip intro features is not working pls help!

hi guys…

the skip intro feature is not working… and i also search the internet and this forum for solutions
but nothing helped…

i have the newest update and plex lifetime pass… only on one show i get this skip intro button
and the others not…

what can i do… pls help.

The Plex Media Player app does not show the option to skip intros of shows. However it’s available in almost all other clients (see the related support article for the full list).

i know i tried it on different clients… but as i said only one show has this skip intro button!

also i activated trailers (because few few days ago i got plex lifetime pass)
and i even dont have trailers

One step at a time, please.
Do your shows meet the criteria?

  1. Library is configured to scan for intros
  2. If you have configured your server to generate intro markers as scheduled job (vs. doing so immediately when new content is added) – did you give your server a few days to process them during the night?
  3. intros are more than 20 seconds long
  4. intros are ending in the 1st half of the episodes

If you’re not sure about #2:

  1. Open the tv show library in Plex Web and drill down to the episode of a show which doesn’t allow you to skip intros
  2. Click ⋮ > Get Info on one of that episodes
  3. Click View XML
  4. Check if there’s an element named <Marker> with an attribute type="intro"

yes i checked the xml but i couldn´t find the attribute intro

i have few anime shows on attack on titan i got the button skip intro
but in bleach i havent and its 3 days after…

sorry for my bad english

I assume that means you have confirmed #1+2?
Can you analyze the show / season to see if this triggers the identification?

yes…
actually every of the 4 points…

and i also tried to trigger the skip intro identification with analyzing the show and even the episodes… the activity cylce on the right top shows up and it says “looking for intros” (or so i translated it from german)
